The Westminster Casuals' three year wait for a victory over their fellow Richardson Evans tenants goes on as they went down to a damaging defeat.
 
This was the fifth meeting between the two sides and since their first meeting in January 2008 - goalless draw - the Casuals have now suffered four consecutive defeats.
 
Puretown were quick out of the blocks and the Casuals found themselves 2-0 down after just 20 minutes and despite the visitors gaining a foothold in the game with a tactical reshuffle a third goal on the stroke of half time effectively settled the match.  
 
An improved second half performance saw the Casuals competing and finally stringing some passes together but that will come as no consolation to John Skelly's men.
 
This defeat - the Casuals? 4th in the league this season - sees them relinquish top spot in the league table.
 
Next Saturday the Casuals travel to bottom of the league Croygas Phoenix while new leaders Tooting Bec entertain 3rd placed Triangle.
