LITTLE'S LARGE DIVE
Monday 24 May 2010

FALL GUY: Lurky

Casuals centre back and Johnny Vaughan lookalike Dan Little successfully completed  a 20,00ft sky dive with the Red Devils last Thursday, raising the magnificent sum of £1,230 for the Help for Heroes charity.

"It was a quality day at Langar Airfield in Nottingham and thanks to lots of generous donations I managed to raise a great sum" said Lurky.

"Obviously having broken my ankle 4 weeks before the jump against Sutton High, it was touch and go as to whether I could do it, but in the end the end I just didn't tell them about it until we were halfway down.

"The Para I was strapped to really sorted me out though by landing us like a feather. The Red Devils from the Parachute Regiment who looked after us on the day were absolutely class. Having the privilege to meet those guys and hear their stories was a great glimpse for me into why we can proudly say the UK has the best service-men in the world.

"Thanks again to everyone who sponsored me. If anyone wants to add a few quid its not too late, just go to my just giving site."
