MAGIC TRIO: Dynamo, Griff and Owen Ex Casual and now famous DJ Gareth Griffiths recently spent a day with street magician Dynamo and former England striker Michael Owen.
In his spare time Griffo represents Dynamo and he accompanied him on a trip to Owen's stables to do some magic with his racehorses. Apparently the horses were unimpressed by Dynamo's card tricks.
No doubt keen gambler Owen is more interested in card schools than card tricks but he allowed the magician to visit on the condition he didn't saw any of his horses in half during the TV special they were filming.
The Man United fans amongst you that may be hoping Dynamo was able to work his magic on Owen and give him back that extra yard of pace that made him one of the most feared frontmen in the world, will be disappointed to hear that despite making a living as a magician, Dynamo possesses no magic powers whatsoever (just like Paul Daniels, David Copperfield et al). Its all sleight of hand and misdirection Lushy...
Griff would not reveal what tricks were performed but did say that Ruud Van Nistelrooy was not harmed during filming.
However he did reveal he sold Owen a load of Casuals raffle tickets. ........................................................................................................ |
