Third in the all time appearance list with 200 games tucked safely under his belt, Pilch was a hugely committed Casual. A very strong tackler with a great winning attitude, Pilch never gave less than his maximum.
Former club statistician and complete football anorak who never tired of banging on about his beloved Shrewsbury Town FC.

Appearances/Goals: 200 / 3
Debut: 21 Sept 1996 v Greenford Academicals in London Commercial League Division 6. We won 3-2 thanks to a Phil Malcolm hat-trick!
How did you come to join the club: Mate Catesy was already playing and took me along for a friendly in August 1996 telling Phil "he'll be alright for pre-season then we'll bin him", a good mate, Catesy!!
Highlight of Casuals Career: Double winning Arabian Cup captain & Polling twice as many player of the year votes as Catesy in my first season (2 - 1)
Favourite match: Surrey Cup semi v Clarkson Hyde. A great tight match and a last minute winner - brilliant.
Worst match: Nov 2001, lost 4-0 to New Hanford in the London Commercial League Senior Cup, the bare 11, rubbish attitude, no spirit, the worst of the dark days for the club!!
Most memorable goal you have scored: I've scored a couple of crackers on the Battersea astro but difficult to split my 3 Casuals goals which were all special.
Funniest thing you have seen on a Casuals night out: The Roadhouse Brawl
Favourite Bridgend tour memory: The Shot & Shock treatment with electrodes
Favourite House of Horrors story: Never made it
What do you think of the Gaffer's crabdance: So scary, it's funny. Despite Phil insisting "the crab will not be appearing tonight" at my wedding the DJ built it up so much he couldn't back down, it was the most energetic performance I've seen - 90% of the guests were totally baffled!
Best thing about being a Casual: the lads, the crack and the football's good too.
