Family: Wife Cathy, Ben age 13 and Alexandra age 10
Occupation: Insurance Broker
How did you come to join the Casuals: Got together with a certain P Malcolm and decided it was time to get the boots out again.
Why did you leave: Too old/unfit/crocked
Who else did you introduce to the club: Shaun Kiernan, Paul Scott
Highlight of Casuals Career: Getting out alive after tunnel brawl involving corner flags with some team in East London (Heatwave) following a bad tempered match during which one of our guys was told he would be "shot" after the game. Actually their wives were more frightening than the players!
Lowlight of Casuals career: Getting injured and having to go off in the 1993 cup final.
Most Embarrassing Moment: Being called a "fat bastard" by an equally fat (in my view) defender. Probably brought the message home and hastened my retirement! Still skinned him mind!
Best Casuals manager you played under: The One and Only P Malcolm
Worst player you played alongside: There were a couple in our early days who could barely kick the ball - I've erased their names from my memory. Otherwise, Dave Houlker's right foot.
Funniest player: Ertan Djemal - nutter who had the capability to play a bit and very committed to the cause
Favourite match: Semi final win v Urban
Worst match: Losing the final & getting injured
Most memorable Casuals goal you scored: Precise chip from right edge of the box over the keeper and into far corner against team who play virtually under the M4 (can't remember their name - memory's going in my old age!)
Funniest thing you have seen during a game: P Malcolm's dick
Funniest thing you have seen on a Casuals night out: P Malcolm's dick
Favourite Bridgend tour memory: Ertan Djemal's chat up lines - "Ello darlin'
Are you still playing: No
How would you like to be remembered: Instinctive goal scorer totally committed to the cause.
Best thing about being a Casual: The camaraderie
Message to the current team: Looks like you're doing well enough without any messages from me. Congratulations and keep up the good work!
